Rock art: outside the cafe after our fjord trip, there
were some rock 'chairs'. Polished quartzite, results from fine-grained
quartz subjected to high temperature and pressure. From 400-500M yrs ago.
Rock art: polished cordierite, relatively rare. Its believed that the
Vikings used cordierite to navigate since its dichroic
and allows determination of the sun on overcast days.
