Around mid- to late-August, the puffin chicks fledge and the colony leaves for the open ocean. Luckily, there were still puffins fishing near the island. The weather was clear and warm, ideal for bird photography.
One of the most photographed sites in Iceland, Kirkjufell Mountain and the nearby, small waterfall. Unfortunately, i could not stay for the golden hour since our boat left at 6pm.
