Workplace Curonian Peninsula, Lithuania

Aug 14, 2024. After a ferry ride to the Curonian peninsula, one can view the well-preserved Nida village, a UNESCO heritage site. To the south, one can see Kalingrad. Evidently, the greenish-brown Baltic sea is contaminated with fertilizer run-off, leaking WW2 munitions/ships and possibly radioactive waste. At an overlook, some Viking rune carvings (contemporary) can be seen.

Images were taken with an OM-1 & 12-100mm/F4 lens. The flowers were shot by stacking 8 frames in camera. Of course, I didn't bring my macro lens, flash and diffuser.
