Aug 18, 2024. My hope/focus for this port was to shoot pix of wildlife/birds. Hence, the trip to the Valkmusa National park. Unfortunately, there was not much to see; only an Osprey in the distance and the nest (no chicks could be seen). The most interesting object was a carnivorous plant that is native to Finland (top row, 2nd image). Another part of the visit to Kotka included a visit to the Tsar's fishing lodge (not shown, though I did shoot pics of the informative displays that included old pictures from the Tsar Nicholoas and family). Note: only 4 images were taken with my OM-1 camera & 150-400/F4 lens; the bulk are iPhone pics.
